The Atlantic Climate System Indicators are observation-based measures that can be used to track conditions in the North Atlantic.
Major changes are occurring across the North Atlantic climate system: in the ocean and atmosphere temperatures and circulation, in sea ice thickness and extent, and in key atmospheric constituents such as ozone, methane and aerosols.
ACSIS works to detect, explain and predict changes in the North Atlantic climate system. By understanding of how this system works we can then improve our ability to predict how these changes will impact the UK.
